Schnoodle puppy head-tilt looking cute
  • I could go on and on here, but will try to keep it brief. Some people may be happy with this, but if you’re after the highest quality photograph there is simply no comparison. I use a professional digital camera with top of the line lenses to give you sharp photos. I use studio lighting and professional backdrops to get your pet looking their best and make every hair stand out. My equipment and process is all colour managed - my camera and computer monitors are kept colour calibrated and I work with professional photo laboratories that colour calibrate their printers so you can be sure the final printed product you get from us looks as close to how they look naturally as can be. The printed products I offer are printed on the highest quality fine-art materials available and preserved using museum-grade frames and mounts. I take pride in my work and combine my knowledge, skills and professional photographic equipment to deliver a service and product that you will truly treasure and will last a lifetime.

  • Most pets are not particularly bothered by the flash of the lights, however I do have a process of slowly getting them used to the studio equipment as I meet them. If they are clearly distressing your pet then I can switch to using a constant light source if needed which should not be distressing for them at all.

  • I have lots of different tricks I can use to help gain your pets attention and keep them engaged with the photoshoot however sometimes we just have to be patient and roll with it a bit. If your pet is getting bored or needs a break I’m happy to accommodate this. Although I have a time limit on my sessions, I always allow a bit of extra time in case it’s needed. That being said, sometimes keeping the session short works better for certain pets and we can still capture a bunch of amazing photographs. So don’t worry - I’m flexible and will work with you and your pet to make sure it’s an enjoyable experience for all.

  • Yes please! You know your pet best and can help with posing them and getting them to look at the camera (I have a few tricks I will show you). Sometimes having multiple people in the room is a bit too distracting for young puppies, so I might ask that it’s just me and the puppy if this is the case.

  • My standard set-up is about 3m x 3m so should easily fit in most large living rooms or garages. If space is an issue please get in touch and I’m sure we can come up with a solution!

  • Yes! Currently I can offer a pure white vinyl or grey paper seamless background. I have a dark wood flooring vinyl which looks great paired up with the grey background. I can also offer a completely black background (because I use studio lighting even black dogs can look great on black backgrounds). If you want something really funky it is possible to convert the grey background to any colour you like in Photoshop so let me know if this is something you’d be interested in.

  • I offer digital copies of photos with our watermark on as part of all of my packages. These are lower resolution files that you can download and share via email or social media and look great on screens. However they are not full-resolution print ready files so won’t look that good if you tried to have them printed. If you would like to have any of the photos printed I can arrange this for you to ensure you get the best quality prints and most accurate colours.

  • With my current mobile studio set-up I could photograph 2 large dogs sitting side by side or 2-3 smaller dogs. Cat’s are not a problem - bring it on (no actually probably 3-4 cats max would be suitable). BUT…feel free to get in touch to discuss if you have more pets or something particular in mind as I’d be happy to work with you around this. There’s always the option of taking multiple pictures of pets and joining them together in photoshop to create one cool image we can print!

  • Yes I’m happy to do this and it’s something I would like to incorporate more into my work, however it’s a bit tricky due limited space and backdrop size. Realistically, with my current set-up, I could really only take a close up of one person with their pet but feel free to contact me to discuss and I might be able to make something work.

  • I specialise mostly in taking photos of cats and dogs, however feel free to contact me if you have another type of pet you’d like me to photograph as I’d be happy to discuss this with you.
